Run XcelR

The XcelR node (xcelrd) and wallets, built from commit 832135f. Running a node means you verify the chain yourself rather than trusting anyone else's view of it.

Verify before you run it

Check that the hash matches the one above. If it doesn't, stop and don't run the binary.

// Checksum verifier

Needs JavaScript

Nothing is uploaded. The file is read and hashed on this device.

A match shows that your file is identical to the one whose checksum this site publishes. It cannot show that the checksum file itself is authentic: anyone able to replace a download on this server could replace SHA256SUMS too. Releases are not signed yet.

Or check it on the command line:

shell
curl -LO https://xcelr.org/downloads/xcelr-0.1.0.0-linux-x86_64.tar.bz2 # or whichever file you want
curl -LO https://xcelr.org/SHA256SUMS
sha256sum --check --ignore-missing SHA256SUMS            # Linux

Start a node

shell
tar xjf xcelr-0.1.0.0-linux-x86_64.tar.bz2
cd xcelr-0.1.0.0-linux-x86_64
./xcelrd # syncs the chain, then stays running
./xcelrd status             # in a second terminal

The node finds the network through seeds.xcelr.org. To create or open a wallet, run ./xcelr-wallet-cli with the node running.
